Is he a freud?

I've recently read about Freud and his theories. And I have to say: the man is bat-shit crazy.

Is Sigmund Freud's theories still used to today? It can't be considered an actual science as the results of his experiments cannot be reproduced.

While his theories on Defense mechanisms seem to make some sense, his theory of "Penis envy" is something that only a madman can think of.

How is he still considered to have a significant influence on modern psychology? He was right about the subconscious mind though, but that doesn't make his other theories seem plausible.

He also advocated for cocaine, which was later found to be a dangerous drug.

What is your take on Freud?
