are threads of /sci/ archived? are they indexed by google and other search engines?

I did some quick searches on google and it turns out that people who listen to hip hop are dumber than people who do not on average

I think the results are skewed though, because I'm highly intelligent and listen to rap and everybody I know who is intelligent also does - no exceptions.

Now me and my friends all speak german and we're all white, so we probably don't represent the group of all rap listeners very well, but I feel like the subgroup we fall into is very intelligent and listens to rap.

I think the assertion that hip hop is for dumb people is wrong. I listened to classicale music exclusively for years and now I pretty much only listen to rap, I think it has more to offer. Obviously the stuff I listen to is Nas, Wu Tang, Mobb Deep etc.

I think the reason for this is that rap isn't overproduced and overloaded with loads of different sounds, too many impressions at once really are taxing on my brain. I don't even like bright colors or strong tastes for that reason, my brain doesn't need that much input to function.

So what does /sci/ think?

So I saw this chart a while back.
Does it actually make any sense for music to reflect intelligence?
If so, is it because you're more likely to listen to a certain type of music based on intelligence, or does intelligence develop listening to a certain type of music (probably as a kid)?
So my favorite band is Death Cab for Cutie. Does it actually make sense that the average Death Cab fan has an IQ of 1120?
