I've heard the theory that mitochondria and chloroplast used to be independent cells, but what evidence is their to support or disprove this? I have researched this and have not found a straight answer anywhere.

As a level 3 buddhist and a dark man I find this board offensive to my beliefs. All science was created by Buddha and meant to be left alone. All the bad things in the world are caused by the scientists angering god.
