Wood mainly DIY'er here. I have been wanting to get into foundry work and start learning about metals, how to pour them into miniature creations, and all sorts of things till I came across a youtube video talking about stripping gold from mobo's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9uj8qB0yyI).). They don't tell you anything, though. Lots of other videos, too. However, I don't feel comfortable with my skill level to work with the large acids, nor do I know how to safely dispose of them locally. So i thought this would be a better way.

Do you have any advice for beginners on this?
A webpage that would be extremely helpful, break everything down very clearly, and teach me how to do this kind of thing with a good understanding once everything is done? I was wondering if there was a small-scale DIY way I can start doing this? I have a lot of mobo's stored up from over the years and thought I should give this a shot. And if I can manage it, I'll upscale it.

gallium can be liquid at a temperature safe for human consumption, and the wiki page said elemental gallium is non toxic, however it said compounds of gallium are toxic, so those will prob form at some point in your body and if you drink enough you could become the silver surfer

also theres colloidal silver and prob gold if you made it yourself, but idk how much you can drink before it makes you sick
