Hello /SCI/, for my science project since we're learning about The Big Theory (young fag). I've came to a conclusion that the Big Bang Theory is allot like Christianity's story. So, I decided to make a project about it. Can any of you give me more evidence, to help support my hypothesis?
> God created the galaxy, planets, stars. The Big Bang, created the galaxy, planets, and stars from a small volume of mass and exploded. So, could that be the same way how god said "Let there be light."?
> The Earth was created in 7 days in the Christian belief. The Big Bang theory stated that the Earth was created in a matter of seconds. Could the 7 days, mean the development of the Earth?
So, that's what I have so far. Please, be mature. I'm not looking for religious debate, Nihilist debate, or any other kind of tainted threads you post on /b/ all the time.

"The world is 13.7 billion years old" RELATIVE TO WHAT? I'm asking because I just heard time is relative..

If the universe is cyclic (after the big crunch there is new big bang etc.) isn't it very likely that all this has happened sometimes before? I mean if there are infinite series of big bangs and big crunches eventually all possible combinations will be presented. Am I right?
