even so, if someone makes a film, they dont do it just for them to have a copy of the film. if 1,000,000,000 download it for free and dont pay, then the film maker would lose money they would have had if they'd all payed to see it.

It could be something huge, almost what internet was for information, at least in 1st world countries.
