Try thinking about it this way. If "ANYTHING" that can happen, does happen in an alternate reality, then "ANYTHING" would include your dreams, fantasies, or whatever you choose to imagine. Which begs the question, are you simply dreaming/imagining these parallel realities, or are you somehow directly observing them in your mind? Maybe there's a person in a parallel reality who's dreaming of you? Is reality just a dream that someone else dreamed up? And if a computer simulated reality uses biological matter for the hardware, is it still a computer simulated reality or is it now a dreamed reality?
