They help, but you have to have a basic knowledge set of mathematics. If someone's doing convergence and divergence and has a "final in a couple of days", and doesn't know this shit, they're not worth helping. This is something that you can look at for half a second and know the answer if you payed attention during the topic. It's essentially the base example of a exponential sum.

No. It's one of the more famous divergence series.

What are the best resources for learning an electricity and magnetism course with calculus? My lack of understanding with this part of physics is a huge weakness in trying be useful is research. If you guys had any recommendations, it would be really appreciated!

Between Math, Biology, Neuroscience and Computer Science, which would offer the most internship opportunities and be the most dependable to make money with?

How much time it takes to finish my bachelor's in any of these is irrelevant; I've already damaged my GPA and any hope of graduating with a useful degree anytime soon, not to mention obnoxious student loan debt. I'm thinking Computer Science would be useful, but at the same time, I get the feeling that I definitely have the attention span and interest to learn things in that realm on my own. As for Neuroscience/Bio, I need to do all of Bio and place high to even get into the Neuroscience program. I've also read (somewhere) that there are too many Bio students graduating, so getting a job in that field is difficult. As for Math, I don't exactly know what I can do with it, but it seems like it would be very useful.

Advice, personal stories, whatever is appreciated.

>denouncing religion as false (despite no ABSOLUTE proof).
You don't need absolute proof. Some of religion's claim are logically inconsistent, others are simply overwhelmingly improbable given the empirical state of evidence, assuming basic principles of epistemic rationality. Dawkins has made this quite clear dozens of times; he never claimed to have absolute proof.

There is a three-digit number containing three different digits where the first digit plus the number formed by the second and third digits, the first digit multiplied by the number formed by the second and third digits, and the sum of all three digits are all perfect squares.

Not homework, just curious :)

Why when you multiply two negative numbers you get a positive number?

Shouldn't you just get a much larger negative number?

How come WolframAlpha can solve this implicit diff. but Mathematica 8 is having problems doing it?

x*y=e^(x)*sin(y)

Is the "implicit differentiation" correct (scroll down)?

Our kiss went on and on. She made no effort to pull away or do
anything except match her lips to mine. It was only after a very
long time that I finally became aware of other things again, like
those impressively tight breasts pressed so firmly into my chest.

It was only when I finally admitted that I was having trouble
holding this position any longer that I reluctantly broke it off
and released her. Her tail was swishing again as she stepped
back only a couple of inches.

"That was...wonderful," I managed to get out in acknowledgement
to her as I reached over to lightly brush her neck again.

She much have enjoyed it too because she looked somewhat dazed
and it took a few seconds for her eyes to focus on me again.

And in what I really liked, again she made no effort to move away
from me in the least, although we were still so close I could
feel the heat from her body.

Then she reached out and took my hand lightly and pulled me even
closer towards her.

"I can learn so much from you," she said softly.

I didn't need any more invitation that that.

I reached out and stroked her neck with one hand while running
the other now boldly over the thin fabric of her top. Her large
teats pushed hard against their confinement as I squeezed each
one through the fabric. They were a huge turn-on. I looked at
her face and saw she had a dazed look as her tail started to jerk
again.
