These threads are obviously started by trolls most of the time, but many of the posters later in these threads are not "trolling" — they feel that black people being "intellectually inferior" to white people is as obvious as women being "physically weaker" than men,
and for that reason the posters in question have a hard time entertaining the idea that the perceived differences are entirely social, and they are not comfortable with taking someone who suggests such a thing seriously. I think that’s where much of the conflict comes from. They see it as being "common knowledge" in the same way as the earth being round and it’s surface being mostly water.

On this idea personally, I don’t know where this could matter or what I’m expected to infer, but that’s what’s going on here.
