So, I've been wondering, what exactly do mathematicians not involved in academia do?

I mean these people must have jobs, who the fuck are they working for and what are they working on?

I've decided to become a mathemagician

But I'm an econ major. My plan is to l2math and then try to get into an applied math or statistics masters program

What are some foundational books I should read? I'm gonna do calc II in the summer along with some more stats/prob courses

I didn't read the thread but I got 0
8+4 x 8-4 = 12x4 = 48
6+4 x 7-4 = 10x3 = 30
9+4 x 4-4 = 13x0 = 0

It's a magic 4 btw
