YES, but that came from a pure logic proof, and after that step the rest of mathematics is easier to prove.

When I'm left alone with my thoughts I have wonderful monologues with myself about science and philosophy. I took a walk today and thought about developmental biology, the incredibly complex and beautifully mysterious emergent processes which guide the development of an embryo. I feel bad for anyone who doesn't experience the joy of deep thought.

it's essentially romanticist writing, not based in rationality but based in the unconscious, the unknowable, the unfamiliar
there is nothing to understand here other than the expression of the soul of man

or in other words Nietzsche was pretty obsessed about Christianity, one who resents something does not take vast amounts of time to reform it
his writing are more of religious nature than anything else

to close the loop of thought you have to understand that periods of romanticism surfacing is the return of religion in the western world
just like nature is creeping into the world of man every time (climate change) so does religion creep back into secular society

>reverse the genetic damage to such cells.
Cancer is the genetic damage, the moment you lose your structure of genome and especially the p52 gene you get cancer. Basically cancer is aging, or the final form of aging. Also the brain could never somehow recover from losing its structure to cancer even if you could RT it.
I had the same idea once, I never tell it to anyone.
You should keep this thought to yourself, there may be a way... Also anyone scientist would call you and idiot. you should not let others take your idea, not only are we not ready for immortality but whoever figures it out will be god. Anyone who sees this post with half a brain should drop the idea and not bring it up until...
God I hope this thread is pruned or archived fast
Good thing you put a pick of macaroni so it will be iced faster... good thinking anon, maybe in the future we will do business, but for now drop it.

Hi guys. I know most of you will probably laugh, or think I'm trolling, but I'm still going to post this hoping someone has good advice, so please, for those of you who are willing to be helpful, please read and take it seriously.

I want to learn everything. Obviously this is impossible, but let's say I want to dominate most areas of knowledge on, at least, a basic level. I mostly want to focus on Mathematics, Physics and Philosophy, but I also want to study the other Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, areas related to Technology, Programming, CS, etc.. and non-scientific areas such as History, Languages, Art, Music, Geography, Literature, and anything I find worth learning about.
I've been planning this for a while, and finally decided to start (I'm almost 20, in case you find that info relevant). I'm going embark on this mission with a friend. Even if he gives up, I still intend to continue doing this alone.
I'm not trying to be the edgy snowflake, but I'm proud of my above-average intelligence (not going to give any values because I don't want to start an IQ thread), so I feel like this isn't such an impossible mission, with enough dedication. My friend and I are planning on studying everyday, or if we can't, almost everyday, for a few hours.
Another thing we want to do is develop our brain power even more. We're considering some other activities and games that might help us "upgrade our hardware" (such as chess, for example).
We're going to start tomorrow, I was thinking about starting with some of the earliest works and books about Philosophy, and slowly go through all of the human knowledge in chronological order.

Do you guys have any advice for me? Where should I start? Do you guys recommend any books? Websites? Online courses? Games?
I was hoping I could get any tips from anyone who has done something similar or might have something they feel like I should know.

TL;DR
I want to learn about "everything". I'm going to start tomorrow. Any advice?

Schizotypal HS senior+1 year of prep so dont call me underage.
It's not THAT bad, I like being Schizotypal, it's like a sweeter version of life, coated with layers of dreams and romanticism...
To the point where I can't even taste what life is.

Hi /sci/, I don't normally post or browse here, but I was wondering what the consensus on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds is and I suppose it is concerning medicine and therefore relevant.

I live with four other people at university and two of them are on prozac to treat anxiety and depression. One of them only just started and they already want to increase his dose. I always think of anti-depressants as a crutch that eventually you wont need, but it seems to me people wrongly take it as a permanent solution.

What does /sci/ think of anti-depressant and anti-anxiety meds? I believe some people definitely need them, but for others it seems like a scam.

Sorry if this isn't relevant enough.
