I'm new to this. Am I correct in interpreting his thesis being that entropy isn't increasing because (1) there are many examples in the universe where entropy is decreasing, and (2) the universe is not known to be a closed system?

If so, are the following responses correct:

1. Entropy may decrease in one place (eg. the earth) while in another place increasing (eg. the sun) in which case the total overall entropy is increasing.

2. The "event horizon" of the universe makes it a closed system?

3. Whether the universe is a closed system is unknown, therefore we cannot conclude that entropy is wrong.

How might the brain have evolved?
