why is any idea posted on here attacked with massive hostility. The correct response would be to either calmly disprove it or admit its plausible and say test it. But /sci/ seems to take ideas as some sort of personal attack. I can only think of three reasons 1) youre jaded due to seeing so many tinfoil ideas. So what, take everything on its own merit, 2) You are desperate to not see someone else succeed because it will make you look mediocre. Grow up. Or 3) youre just really dogmatic; "if its not already thought of and implemented its bullshit is an argument I hear a lot. This is science not religion.

Post a programming project on /g/ or a construction project on /diy/ and you get a far more helpful response.

Don't worry anon I am in the same boat. Its my first year at top school, and I get btfo by everyone who went to fancy, top of the nation high schools, while I went to some shitty public school. At least I'm passing.
