What exactly are people getting killed for?
First world nations are miserable hell-holes that masquerade as oasis's from the rest of the known world.

Everyone is bat-shit, directionless, and manipulative. They prey on youth because they have nothing better to do.

They do drugs because they have nothing better to do.

25% of all of the people living in this country have no one to talk to. Suicide rates are through the ceiling. It's like a portal to hell.

If the brain can function and problem solve at a higher level, what's the purpose in measuring it without that experience if it can easily strike a higher score?

If Bach could free-style a fugue due to experience (which is essentially playing 32 games of chess, blind, and winning), shouldn't we adjust our measurement of intelligence for real life?

I know a lot of people claim "there are too many variables for them to recur", but I doubt this when there's too much that remains unknown about the reality we live in.

Ancient aliens could've already built a machine that automatically resets the universe once it hits heat death, and we'd never know.

I thought "This is funded by white supremacists", but then I went into the real world and observed black people IRL, and I realized that, as obvious as it is, that black skin is more than just black skin.

I wonder if that was divine intervention.
I know it easily couldn't be, but there's no certainty that it wasn't.

I don't know how serious I was about offing myself, and I've always historically been an anxious person, so I could easily panic at a future promise of immediate termination.

It was probably nothing but dumb-luck, but I can't be sure anymore. It was too perfect, and it was the only person in the entire world that could distract me.

It's hard to not believe in some sort of a god. People talk about "OH MAN, WE'VE GOT THE UNIVERSE FIGURED OUT", but everything I see in this world built by man is terribly simple when the principles are deconstructed. It's arrogant to even say the Universe will die in a heat death when there are so many unknown variables in physics, etc.

I just can't place faith in what other people do anymore.

So are you telling me that a photon is a particle but travels within a non-physical "wave" of probability which follows the exact same laws of physics as ripples in a pond and only materializes into existence if in contact with an observer?

Is the human consciousness just an evolutionary accident?

/sci/, what the hell is going on? The planet is getting worse and worse, animals and plants are getting extinct, and we don't have a great space program that will enable us to colonize other planets (assuming there is one that will support life)

I just feel so hopeless /sci/. Is this the end for us?
