we met Katie Bouman Goldstein today while she was shooting a scene for Blacked.com.

She stated that she could not have completed her algorithm without the help of diversity and multiculturalism, which she says helped her survive her all white teamembers who got in her way and slowed her down.

Katie says she will be donating half the proceeds of the black hole pictures to black lives matter and the united negro college fund so that "real scientists" can work with her in the future
