Why do people ask questions that have answers already? Why do they do it so lazily?

Present problems first. Then teach them how to solve them. The brain is made for problem-solving.

Make sure they are studying AT LEAST 6 days a week, otherwise you are wasting time building something that gets destroyed the next day.

See how retarded they are: what is their IQ, can they pay attention at all (give them this test: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/06/07/technology/20100607-distraction-filtering-demo.html)? Do they feel bad about their intelligence or do they not give a shit?

Make sure they DON'T ingest caffeine everyday. This is a common problem with students. Caffeine should be taken for tests, at very small doses.

Is our generation obsessed with Instinctive reaction?

I have been playing chess on lichess for awhile and I have noticed that players just play so goddamn fast, the "slow" ones usually lose with 3 minutes, 4 minutes left. What is this? A good old "FAST" chess game used to be an hour of battle. Are these people Thinking their way through or are they just Feeling when they move pieces like in the game Go?

I have realized the same pattern irl: people don't take more than 5 seconds to answer you. If you take your time to answer hard questions, there is this social anxiety body language that people display around you. This makes no sense, people rather be fast and wrong than slow and right?

I have some theories to explain this: modern generations are unused to holding the same thought for more than a few seconds. But why? I would say it has to do with TV and music: Music induces instinctive responses, I bet TV rapes your brain with the amount of incomplete information that you are exposed to, the amount of cuts in Toy Story, for example, is around 1500 presented to you at a set speed, without your input. This information is also not repeated, it is mostly novelty, "one time use only", unless if it is Important News or Ads. Most if not all of the fiction you are exposed to is unrealistic, inconsistent, and I bet it induces you to be unrealistic, inconsistent, about yourself, and most characters are instinctive as well. You are not even used to the idea of writing long reviews of TV channels and other media that is given to you, you actually don't think they are bad enough. The paradox is also that our reaction time is slower than older generations, and I think that it is because we have learned to be these passive-dead TV watchers. Older generations would actually react to elements on screen if they had no previous exposure to films. So we are fast when we should be slow, and we are slow when we should be fast because we are also desensitized.
