You people only believe in it because it provides more answers than you currently have and don't want to admit you've run into a wall. But no amount of wishing on your part will ever actually prove it exists.

Plus, the idea in itself makes no sense. There can't be more than one universe, it's in the definition. You'd simply be describing different parts of the universe even if you're right.

Anyone else have no idea what research they want to do, and just accepted the research projects based on whatever professor was the first to agree to work with them? Anyone do this to be admitted to a PhD program? if so, how did it work out? Did you actually like your research project?

Mental illness is BS invented to oppress people and obtain dokoarydoos, right? I read the SlateStarCodex blog and the guy seems smart but he's a psychiatric doctor working with loonies in America. These people have shitloads if problems and somehow pills are the solution. It's like psychiatry is a medium used solely for mental masturbation.
