A bit of fuel for terraforming discussions, I did a rough back of envelope calculation to determine how much gas you'd need to produce to get a livable atmosphere on Mars and compared it to current total global mining production figures. Seems semi-feasible but you're going to need a fuckload of mining, be it on the Martian surface or near-mars objects.
