that feel when the only good /sci/ posters were the tripfags and all of them got trolled away ;_;

How do I become good at Science and Math?
I'm a little new to this board.. I don't know what I want to be in the future, but I want a job that's useful. I've never really tried in school, and even though I can't pay attention in class to what the teacher says, I can go open up my math book and do the work.
I sound like an idiot. LOOLOLOLOL.

Anyway, any advice for someone who lacks confidence in maths/science?
