Africa has THOUSANDS because not every one migrated out and they didn't suffer the bottlenecks of plagues and mongols and were not imperialistic.

Despite what it looks like, those African genes are not homogenous at all. In fact, they are the most diverse genetic lineages. If we have any concept of race, there would be thousands of different variations
