Does /sci/ follow any podcasts? I liked Morgan Freeman's science podcast after he did through the wormhole, I also think that the history of mathematics podcast is actually quite informative. Are there any others that among can recommend?

I think science has already reached the end.

There's nothing new left to discover. Sure for the next few thousand years they'll invent more novel toys and build faster computers and we'll have millions of self-gratifying yet meaningless TED presentations. But we'll struggle more and more to measure the unmeasurable, every new thing we learn sets the bar of progress higher. Forever stuck on this planet, science will become more and more whimsical to try and make any progress. Theoretical physics will become god, everyone will be living in an imaginary "what if" land. Science devolves into philosophy.

A future Morgan Freeman will announce with an air of confidence: "The universe is made of 33 dimensions and has a triple looped probability field of hyper-symmetrical Barry-Stephen-matrices. Think of it as an infinite number of tiny hairy balls, slapping together."

Then a future Kaku says with a smile "Using these theoretical Bary-Stephen-balls, every day scientists are creating new universes. Although there's no way to prove these new universes exist, they are confident it's not pointless busywork until the sun burns out!"

Hey /sci/,
I know nothing about science.
How much should I believe what I learn watching Through the Wormhole.
