Lewontin’s Fallacy is an argument made by Lewontin that race doesn’t exist (or is not meaningful, or cannot be meaningful, et cetera) on the basis that there is more genetic variation within one given racial category than there is between the averages of two different racial categories.

It is a weak argument and can be attacked in many ways, but the most fundamental failing is in the premise that racial groups would have to be defined by some single gene. When you start to consider even two genes in correlation, racial clusters form immediately and are clear to see.
