Nuclear waste is the biggest nothingburger ever.

Unironically viable. Reminder that most nuclear accident sites underwater are "surprisingly" stable. And that's accidents. People don't understand that nuclear waste is not some green glowing liquid, it's a dense chunk of metal further stabilized in ceramics or glass. Even if the container somehow disappears, that thing is not going anywhere. If you're so paranoid, put in the subduction zone or just no oxygen areas, and you're set. Oh and have equipment at hand to take them back because you're going to need them anyway. Most of it isn't even waste.

If anything, this means nuclear is the energy where the waste is most easily managed. It's a very low volume of dense solid. It's funny people trying to come up with CO2 storage and shit when nuclear already comes with storage.

>HURR LETS PUT IT IN BARRELS AND BURY IT!
Completely fine BTW. It's literally where is came from. If one is so paranoid, just with oil drilling equipment you can easily drill to places you know it's 99.999% going into magma in whatever years, and lower capsules there.

In my shithole city I unironically suffer from air pollution.

Don't worry CO2-schizo, the abundant energy thanks to nuclear will only make it easier for you to release more CO2.
