19 year old pre-med here, taking organic chem this coming semester. is there any way to prepare myself? I just started looking around cliffnotes and khanacademy to kind of get my feet wet, but is there anything in particular I should start reviewing before the semester? also, this semester I'm taking physics, neuroscience, spanish, and music history. will i die?

I've been wondering, does masturbation during the puberty peroid affect your height? I mean, if testosterone is the thing that blocks the height hormone in some way, and an orgasm is the best way to get rid of it, then shouldn't it make you grow taller? I've seen a programme about castrates on tv the other day, and they all seem to be really fucking tall, due to lack of the testosterone.

tl;dr, will fapping during puberty make one taller?

Hello /sci/, I'm in my science common year and I need to pick a major. So far I'm heading for either chemistry, physics or astronomy. If i take one of these, will I end up like most art students, unemployed? Are the fields very competitive? Pay doesn't concern me as much as being able to actually find a job.

Let's have a thread on how to improve the mind of ones self without significant repercussions.

Good afternoon /sci/, I'm rather curious as to what the difference is between astronomy and astrophysics degrees? Also, is there a common year to take in science degrees, like engineering, or does it go straight into the specific field? Help much appreciated.

I got M=.994 with significant figures.

Okay /sci/ I have some questions if you don't mind. For an item that is considered biodegradable in what sort of time span does it have to be able to degrade? What is the average amount of time for non-biodegradable if ever? How can non-biodegradable waste be properly disposed like Styrofoam and chewing gum?
