The problem with electric universe theory is that it creates a vastly larger number of holes than it closes.

It's also no surprise that reactions in the EM field look very similar to those seen in space-time. They are both field reactions, just on different scales. It's also not as if we've not detected gravity waves and empirically proven special relativity.

You can pop a spinning balloon in slow motion, and the water scatter will form a pattern that looks very much like the layout of a galaxy - this does not mean these two phenomena have anything to do with each other.
