/sci/ - Science & Math

Good evening /sci/, I come to you tonight with a question. I know a few Asian kids, all geniuses in high school, but fizzled out in college. They all started out great, taking all AP courses during high school and in clubs and the likes. Then during college, they either start to do progressively worse or go for a shit major. For example, I've had a number or friends who went to 4.0 GPA, near perfect test scores, to 3.0-3.5 GPAs in college or going for an Art's degree.

What happens to them? They always show that they have the most potential while in high school, but after college, their just as unnoticeable as everyone else.

Hey /sci/, I'm heading off to college in a month and I'm very interested in science. I just think it's so exciting and fascinating how advancement in a society depends on it. However, I'm not too sure what exactly my major should be.

So, I ask you, /sci/: should I major in political science or computer science? Both are strong, hard science majors--but which one should I choose?
