This is a serious question.

How would a regular person go about making copper tools and weapons in his or her back yard?

Is a clay pot usable to smelt metal with?

i am but a child who knows much too little about what he is talking about

but let me ask: beyond the matter of existence- pure existence of course, that is, existence in itself and not formulated in human thoughts (possibly not formulated at all) - is the world of the human mind existent? regarding that we all are merely lifeforms who have achieved a sort of counciousness- does our invention: "understanding" - permeate in any way into existence?

cordially yours,
Glenn

Serious question now /sci/, it always bothers me and I've always wanted a credible answer. The universe 'began' one day or should I say 'life' began. Why did it begin when it did as oppose to before that time? I don't understand how it, once was not, but then became so. That may have not explained my point clearly, I understand the basics of the origination, why is something 'something' rather than nothing, that's simple to me; I just don't understand why nothing became something, THEN, at that time, when it did. Please enlighten me with science..
