It's a fucking hoax. The only source is a single chronic ufologist and his ~*MIND-BLOWING*~ unreleased documentary.

You'll notice that even though a Stanford researcher is mentioned, this isn't on their website. Every single piece of information on this leads back to this one institution making a point out of the idea that "I'm not saying it's aliens, BUT..."

It's the same bullshit pseudo-scientists have been pulling centuries. Call me again when the peer-reviewed studies are out.

(Hint: It won't happen. Either everyone will suddenly forget about all this or they'll blame government interference, lab data being "unreadable" or "mysteriously disappearing" or some oth transparent excuse.)

What makes them any different from us? I'd imagine they have a rather boring night sky unless they were nearby to a galaxy and above its galactic plane, but we're lonely where we are as well. I've never met an alien have you?
