He seems to have seen a relation between the general case of a sequence "a, b, c, d, e, etc., where the terms continually decrease without limit" and Pascal's triangle that I don't really comprehend myself. Do you really see what he means? could you please explain the "certain general theorems on differences and sums" "not yet common knowledge" that he "brought to light"? please try to be thorough if you please.

Why are you so mad, is this how you deal with being a low iq brainlet. I think everyone with a low iq should be executed and euthanized, have them tested before they graduate grade school.

Sup /sci/. I'm a Math major going to a 50-80th ranked state university In The United States of America. I'm a junior RN and I'm working with a professor, hopefully getting a paper published before the end of the year(with me as the only co-author). I want to go to a top 30 school for mathematics. What else do I need to do in order to be competitive? I plan on applying for the spring semester so my senior year counts for something. I'm not really a "prodigy", I failed a few math classes in HS; however, I really straightened myself up in college and have a GPA of 3.96. Fuck, do I even stand a chance, or am I just gonna be another pleb doing a PHD in triple integrals at small town college USA.

Well, we exist somehow and there isn't nothing.

So there needs to be something *necessary* for contingent beings like us to exist - either a creator, or physical processes that were always there.

If there exists an infinite chain of physical processes that led to the emergence of our own universe (including the possibility that ours isn't the only one), we are then left with asking what created this infinite chain in the first place?

There has to be some terminus explanation.

I'm in the mood for a documentary on Newton, Leibniz, or anyone who contributed to physics/engineering in some significant way. Any recommendations?
