I talk a lot about clamping, however this is a thread for general clamp related news and subjects.

Discuss ways in which things are being clamped ITT. Examples:
Induction with pitocin, prenatal vaccination, immedaite umbilical cord clamping, vitamin K, circumcision, vaccination, putting silver nitrate and vaseline in the infant's eyes to prevent it from seeing the mother, formula feeding, fluoridation, bromination, chlorination, irradiation, media, poison food supply, wasting the child's most mentally fluid years on rote maleducation, etc.

What are some other ways they clamp?

Althought perhaps if nature is going to be antropomorphized in some sense, it should should be more of a Mother-Father. The notion of "Mother Earth" and "Father of the heavens" comes from the ancient religions all the way back to Mesopotamia. I think of the underlying logic of the universe as an it, but nonetheless, it would be androgynous. In the Old World cultures these come in the form of the Divine Androgyne, the androgynous creator who is fragmented and all things stem from.

Ancient peoples got it. Far more than modern man. Modern notions are the equivalent of starting over. People are retarded children who think they're Gods.

The primary difference then is I assume there is a singular constant, likely immutable reference frame everything is unavoidably relative to. Whereas you start further back on the chain and assume that something which is floating in a void on its own cannot be said to exist or have location because it cannot be relative to anything.

The gist of the matter is where the orderly logic present in phenomena comes from, by what means does it "exist". You're arguing for circular. Self contained, closed loop.

As a teenager I used to go out into the woods at 2pm and not come back until noon the next day. For a period of my life I walked everywhere, which was as much as 40 miles in a day.

My spine is a fucked up now and I'm not really in shape, though I haven't gained any weight. Those were better times and I'd like to return in some way.

Likewise there was a period where I programmed for like 3 weeks straight. I would see the sun rise out the window, I'd see the light change a few times, then it would be dark. When I got tired I would lay down on the floor. When I woke up, I would program again. I don't really have that endurance and ability to focus down anymore.

>Consistent with the prediction of the Hypothesis, more intelligent children, both in the United Kingdom and the United States, grow up to consume alcohol more frequently and in greater quantities than less intelligent children.
>Controlling for a large number of demographic variables, such as sex, race, ethnicity, religion, marital status, number of children, education, earnings, depression, satisfaction with life, frequency of socialization with friends, number of recent sex partners, childhood social class, mother's education, and father's education,
>more intelligent children grow up to drink more alcohol in the UK and the US.
....
>It is important to note that both income and education, as well as childhood social class and parents' education, are controlled in multiple regression analyses of these data from the US and the UK. It means that it is not because more intelligent people occupy higher-paying, more important jobs that require them to socialize and drink with their business associates that they drink more alcohol. It appears to be their intelligence itself, rather than correlates of intelligence, that inclines them to drink more.
Very interesting.
Of course psychologytoday is trash. Also the rebuttal: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/addiction-in-society/201011/why-do-smarter-healthier-and-richer-people-drink-moderately
