Biology question here, do humans have alpha males? And what are the characteristics of a human alpha male, compared to say a gorilla or a lion alpha male

This board is pathetic. Every second post is about some pseudo scientific bullshit, or completely elementary mathematics (0.99..=1 come on most mathematicians got over that when they were 6). Yet at the same time the other half of posts are bragging about IQ and intelligence. Am I supposed to believe that this page has the highest proportion of genius level IQs off mathoverflow and yet simultaneously these people can't even discuss non trivial scientific matters in a correct manner?

I think it is safe to say that no one who visits this page for any significant period of time will ever contribute non trivial results to a scientific field, let alone become some uber tier genius that you aspies seem to desire to be. I know some incredibly gifted mathematicians and physicists and they sure are not spending their free time browsing sci and arguing about their IQs.

Troll confirmed. Eidetic memory is still an open question in neuroscience, go tell one of the professors in that department you have Eidetic memory and if true you would be providing scientific evidence for one of the most contentious claims in the field.

Also high IQ does not imply perfect memory, the likes of Tao (IQ 220 or something) do not have eidetic memory.
