>how badly did you fail?

I have no idea. I feel like I must have gotten less than 50 percent, but I know the professor uses a modified curve for grading purposes; so there's a remote possibility that, if everyone else bombed the test too, I might have actually done comparatively well. It's a hope against hope that I'm not willing to depend on.

>did you study hard at it?

The professor keeps PDF versions of his past final exams on his university profile page. I studied the final exam from last year extensively; if I had been given *that* final, or one similar to it, I would have aced the fucking thing. But it was totally different this year. Different focuses, different approaches, everything.

I've thought about this scenario quite a lot.
>1

If I really wanted to make a difference, I'd want to bring back an sufficiently self reliant colony; a small army, with survival professionals, geologists, chemists, all kinds of biologists particularly immunology and disease knowledge, physicists, skilled labourers, and historians specializing in all the languages of the time. We'd need lots of weaponry, transport, medicines, tools, seeds etc. We'd grow in numbers by offering education and jobs, and if necessary, swiftly overthrow kings, so that armies are not formed against us, using our superior firepower or biological or chemical warfare for example.

You obviously knew this had something to do with time travel.
And if he's saying he can prove retrocausality to be a real phenomenon, you better post some details.

Sometimes I like to fantasize about time traveling to the Dark Ages. Obviously, I'd be accused of being a witch. Hijinks ensue.

HOMEWORK, CHEMISTRY
Easy as fuck to do but I'm burned the fuck out

For everyone who helped with this problem before

When 20.5 mL of 0.600 M H2SO4 is added to 20.5 mL of 1.20 M KOH in a coffee-cup calorimeter at 23.50°C, the temperature rises to 30.17°C. Calculate ΔH of this reaction. (Assume that the total volume is the sum of the individual volumes and that the density and specific heat capacity of the solution are the same as for pure water.)

kJ total rxn is 1.14

Found out how to do it, I just need to balance

H2SO4 + KOH ---> K2SO4 + H20

I'm low on sleep because of my landlords stupid ass animals

tl:dr
balance H2SO4 + KOH ---> K2SO4 + H20
I'm lazy as fuck and don't want deal with fractions

So I’ve been wanting to gather lots of information an store it away for when disaster strikes. i.e. 2012 theories, The New World Order, Nuclear Holocaust, Zombie Apocalypse, Economic Downfall, etc.

I want to gather information on what to do for water, food, shelter, basic medicine/anatomy, how magnets work, electricity, math, physics, architecture, how to make animal traps, what plants are poisonous, how the most important inventions of the last 500 years work, how to read the stars for navigation, etc. BASICALLY EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SURVIVE AND RE-POPULATE THE EARTH.

I know all of this information probably exists already on the internet and in people‘s heads, but there will be no internet or phone in an apocalypse.

Does anybody here have a collection of information like this or has started one? Knowledge like this would be worth an infinite amount in a total downfall because knowledge=power.

Also general info thread.

This is not necessarily from an apocalyptic standpoint, but I think in terms of having to "start from scratch", this would work.

Two questions,
1) with a levels in Maths/IT, will I fare well on a Computer Science Course, and what kinda shit do UK unis usually include intheir CS courses?

2) decent uni's for CS? Bearing in mind i got b/b/b

lol.

Also, pic related to OP. Just nix out the ones that were already discovered/invented prior to 1860.
