We have to be on their side to understand them. They didn't have the scientific background, they had nothing to help them see things, they were taught their whole lives that "Jesus is our savior" and that the greatest thing is the next season of American Idol, and we were too late to show them the Sun is a star, which now clashes with everything they heard or thought. Taking their rights is not going to make them more intelligent and it's not going to make us more intelligent, it will worsen the battle and it could come back at us. And I think it already did in the case of the USA, where there are great universities, great thinkers, money and resources to take us to space and create cars and computers... And yet the religious people reacted in extreme ways, going to the other side of the spectrum, with a strong allergy to science and knowledge. Not because one side is dumb and one side is intelligent, but because it's hard for both sides to keep up with each other, so the "dumb" gave up on learning and the "intelligent" gave up on teaching. That is the real problem, in my opinion.

And intelligence cannot be measured like that and you should all know that by now. Stop comparing IQs, it says very little about the people.

How can one minimize or completely remove the deterrence of one's intelligence. Aside from the ageing process what can we do to preserve our minds.
Can we get a list going of "mind-killers" such as alcohol, head trauma etc.
