I work for NASA and the big thing NPCs don't realize about my job is that virtually everything we tell the public is an outright fabrication and total lie. It was already pretty bad when I started here ages ago, but since then its only gotten worse and worse.

We're finally getting the first hot weather of summer where I am and the government meteorologists are blatantly exaggerating and lying about how hot it really is. Currently 86º on my outdoor thermometer, the government is calling it 96º.
Just goes to show you how untrustworthy scientists are and how little conscience they have. They're always shamelessly shilling, lying and manipulating.
