Scientifically, how do circumcision proponents explain the fact that if it's possible to not have a foreskin genetically, and that the foreskin is net harmful, that we don't lack foreskins naturally? Our primate ancestors lost their tails and fur due to selection pressure against them, so shouldn't the same thing have happened to foreskins?

It just retracts with puberty. In America, doctors will forcefully retract the foreskin of children, which is fused to the glans as it should be, and insist mutilation is then necessary. This is “phimosis” in America.
