How will you homeschool your kids, /sci/? Will you adhere to the /sci/ curriculum or shake things up a bit?

In terms of education, there's practically none of it. In my opinion, this is by design but I ask you to actually consider what you learned in school, which you spent 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 13 years at least in. I know I didn't learn shit, everything I learned was self-taught. In addition, public school robbed me and all my peers of our passion for learning. It wasn't until going to college that I actually enjoyed doing math, which fills me with anger because of all those years wasted. In comparison, homeschooled kids perform about a year ahead public school kids, with most families only giving about 4 hours of instruction time. This includes unschooling families who straight up don't educate their kods at all, yet the kids somehow still end up better than public school kids. I aim to teach my kids primarily with a self-made curriculum focusing on math and the classical trivium, along with lots of practical and survival tactics nlt taught in school at all like programming, marksmanship, agriculture, circuitry, cooking, woodwork, and whatever else they may be interested in. If you want to truly understand how much better optimized homeschool learning can be, look at the math part of the curriculum outlined in this old /sci/ post amd consider that most high school kids don't even make it to calculus. Before you call this unrealistic, I do know of kids at that age who are doing math at that level, it's just that it's made impossible by the rate schools go at to accommodate retarded kids.
