As far as I am concerned atoms don't exist. They were invented by analogy with the macrocosmos. If there are planets, stars, satellites, solar system, galaxies etc then there should be atoms, electrons, protons, neutrons, gravitons etc. That is all philosophy not science and it is based on nothing more than faith
