Fell for the chemistry meme.
Best for physical chemistry is McQuarrie, heads and shoulders above the rest (pictured).
I can't remember the title of the worst, but I read this garbage fire of a book on inorganic mechanisms in third year. Dry as fucking sawdust and one of the most important graphs on the topic had a error in it.

I've read a few p-chem books, pic related is definitely my favorite.

It has quantum and thermo and a bit of group theory. It also has refresher sections devoted solely to applicable mathematics.
