I mean, I'm not stupid around things that can hurt me, but I'm not scared of moths like one of my friends is. I'm not fond of spiders, but I'm not really scared of them either.

Hmm...Interesting. I'm not sure how it's done. You could get a sort of diversity survey by catching a few (pitfall traps, blacklighting, good old aerial net), but that really wouldn't give you a raw number. Maybe you could take a few 1 by 1 samples and count all the insects in those and extrapolate, but you risk missing a lot of stuff.

I really don't know. Sorry.
