how do I tell if I have an internal monologue?
I hear absolutely nothing
I can imagine words if I want to though
and I can force myself to read stuff in say some actors voice
or hear music

but I do not have a voice of my own when I read normally
instead I think I bring up things I read or heard or learned before and read the sentence as long as it fits in with that
if suddenly the sentence stops making sense I have to imagine up some new concept or structure or idea to make it fit again
sortof like trying ti figure out what the one who wrote the sentence meant

I guess I often wrongly assume people mean something different than they do this way though and might jump to conclusions too fast?
when I was writing this I do not think I was not talking to myself internally, rather I was thinking back to other stuff I have read and adapting it to this situation

why not just hoborig a weather baloon with hydrogen strapped to a lawnchair, grab a good parachute and some oxygen, and go as high as you want? maybe some warm clothes and sunglasses?
