(you're right about the nuclear fusion, though. Should've meant 'fusion power' in OP).

What are the scientific realities of artificial intelligence becoming smarter than humans?

>le huh duh skynet
we all know movie AI is not possible.

But I just wanna know what is most possible realistic scenario in let's say 50 years from now.

What is the current state of AI research on 2015?

I'm just a begginer in C++ (made a breakout).
but what is the diference between AI in science in real world projects and my breakout demo (pls explain ;_;)

Applied Food science LLC's green coffee extract contains 'GCA' which they claim is Chlorogenic Acid...Which is a fair claim. However, it also states on the bottle in small ink:

' *GCA is a registered trademark of Applied Food Science LLC.'

...What does this mean? How is GCA a registered trademark of this company?

So apparently Marsone dot com is accepting applications for their astronaut program. The thing is, it cost 38 dollars to register. And when you look at the videos of who paid so far, it makes you really think about who they are letting in. What's your opinion /sci/? Is this just a long term scam to sucker ppl out of their money? $38 registration fee, then a $200 physical check, and a $350 life insurance fee, etc? Or do you think this is the real deal?
