Anyone mind explaining how we came to the conclusion that it is impossible to know both the kinetic energy and the position of a particle simultaneously?

There is another side to it also, you can simply collect the rain water and drink that if you want clean water. Since you do not have the sulphur filling up the atmosphere as a pollutant from the industrialization's factories, its relatively clean.
