Hey /sci/, long time no post.
I heard from a friend last night that a man in texas invented a car which could be fulled by water. Just water. Apparently there is a huge conspiricy theory about oil companies killing him, etc.
Looked into it a bit; apparently there was a guy called Stan Meyer who claimed to have invented a water powered dune-buggy, but who was later declared a fraud.
Whether it has been done or not; any idea if/how this could potentially work? How could water alone generate any kind of energy in the kind of quantities a car would require, in the confined space of a car?

tldr; How would a water-fuelled car work?

Hi /sci/fags. I'm currently looking to pursue a MS in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry. Got any good recommendations?
