> I want to be someone else, but I can't
>I can't change myself
Yes you can. You're just overwhelmed. Simplify your life, find out what's important to you. Find out who's important to you. Do what you need to do. If you're goal is too high, you're torturing yourself, find a way to break it down into manageable steps or find another goal.

Anon is here for you.

hi /sci/ i'm taking first year chem, I'm just looking for some guidance (hints) on how to predict the reactions..

In this experiment you will be given nine solutions, labeled 1 through 9. The composition of:
6 M NaOH
3 M NH4Cl
1 M NaBr
0.5 M Na2S
0.3 M Na2SO4
0.5 M KClO3
0.2 M BaCl2
0.2 M KIO3
0.1 M AgNO3

The object of the experiment is to identify the contents of each numbered solution using only the other solutions as reagents. This task may at first seem an impossible one since the contents of all the solutions are unknown at the beginning. However, you will find after completion of the Pre-lab Questions that an unambiguous solution to the problem is possible. In solving this problem, you should consider such things as solubilities of salts, colors, complex ion formation, volatility of acids and bases, acid-base reactions and redox reactions.

Pre-lab Questions
1. Make observations that you expect to make when each of the 36 binary combinations of the 9 solutions is prepared.
2. Write a balanced, ionic equation for each of the 36 reactions.

I know that i have to look at solubility rules/charts and found that some form precipitates, but do i have to calculate Ksp's for the reactions since I'm given concentrations?
Any type of help would be very appreciated, thanks.

The only way vertical farming becomes commercially viable is if electricity is dirt-cheap.

As for inefficient, perhaps in the power requirements, but in terms of water and minerals used, they're far more efficient than normal farming as with hydroponics you can control exactly how much this or that nutrients or water you add to the mix, ensuring that every time you get exceptionally healthy, disease-free vegetables and fruits that can grow year-round and during the night. Since it's a skyscraper, it would be in a city centre, meaning that it would be right at home in the high CO2 atmospheric concentration, and clean the air for the surrounding metropolis.

This person, and thread, got me to wondering. What would happen if you threw something and it didn't have the laws of motion affecting it?

i feel that way bout spirituality and science, to show how they are one in the same like science proves the realm of the spiritual we just lack the tech or the tech is built in us and we need utilize both, anyone understand what im trying to explain?

I have been thinking.

I am the oldest sibling and have a Brother, but my Mother told me recently that before my Brother was born she had a miscarriage.

Was that person the same as my Brother or a different personality? Is Personality/Consciousness a product of being alive or do we just come along with the brain?

Quick question, can the IQ level improve during lifetime? I have an IQ of about 130 according to many online IQ test, never done a professional one. I read very few books (i.e. without images), does that have anything to do with abstract thinking (and consequently, IQ)?

So recently, I've been reading Leo Frobenius' "the daemonic child." The heavy implication in this is that religion evolves from the imaginative state of childhood that precivilized man never "grew out of."

What are your thoughts on this?
