When time travel was invented, that dimension became the God era, and your decendants went backwards in time to visit each human collapse and rescued the innocent, bringing them safely to their most perfect reality. (raptures).

Reincarnation is the most perfect of your decendants giving unsaved family members of raptured innocents more chances to be good in different dimensions. They can do this, because, as you might imagine by having time travel technology, their tech is indistinguishable from magic by our modern standards. They can choose to live forever at peace in the most perfect dimension, as their tech has allowed society and eternal abundance, without a threat of scarcity.

All of existience in the Universe is a giant etheral blueprint. All that ever existed and ever will, already does, just in different dimensions.
