I had a thought lately. I'll try and word it the best I can but science isn't my first language.

An object moves the smallest distance physically possible. (subatomic particle? i dunno)
How fast does this object travel?

It could move at any speed and move the smallest distance possible nigh instantaneously, couldn't it?

But if it reaches it by going mile per hour or a hundred, the only way to "see" its true speed would be to stretch it out over a distance.

If it can cover the most miniscule distance instantly, what would happen if we stretched THAT out over a distance?

Please tear me apart guys, I probably sound like an idiot.
