Hey /sci/ I was wondering if any of you read up on scientific papers that get published currently. If so, what site do you use? Id like to keep up on scientific advancements but dont know a popular credible site.

A wallpaper for your troubles.

It's one in the morning and I'm still in the lab.

All alone. So lonely.

I need a female in my life but I'm so misogynistic because clearly females are inferior, when it comes to mammal dimorphism at least.

If this experiment I'm just now starting doesn't give me the results I am expecting, I'm probably going to lose hope. There's no fucking point.

What mechanism facilitates subatomic arrangement? To me it makes sense that there's so much hydrogen in the universe because it's the simplest atomic structure, but what dictates when an oxygen atom will form versus a carbon, or when quarks will form neutrons versus protons?

PERIODIC TABLE
blocks are the width they are cause thats the number of electrons in each shell, I get it.

Shells are seperate cause you can only fit a certain number of electrons into a configuration before moving up due to paulis inclusion principle.

What is the quantum number or distinction that means the 1p orbital is different from the 2p orbital?

(ie explain the height of the blocks in the periodic table)
