"Einstein discovered that there’s no such thing as absolute simultaneity, for example, while quantum physics shows that an object can be in two places at the same time. "
The author says that stem people don't know what they are talking about when the topic is philosophy and doesn't even take the time to fact check the simplest argument of modern physics.

Haha, definitely not the a popular opinion on /sci/, maybe try /x/... Look, I am all for meditation and psychedelic drugs and have done both a lot. There's nothing I have experienced that would prove to me that consciousness transcends matter and I've had some wild trips. They're explainable by the way the drugs affect brain chemistry. We still don't know much about any of this so I could be wrong, but I'll stick to a materialistic view. All this quantum new-age bs is too much

Decided to show you guys some numbers on how many people graduated from my uni along with me today. Bear in mind its the fall semester so its a lot fewer compared to most spring commencements.

For the sake of detail, I'll only do undergrads

I'll only give the overall number for each category, unless you ask for one specifically in number.

College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences = 82.

College of Business = 387

College of Communication = 105

College of Education = 141

College of Engineer and Architecture = 165

College of Liberal Arts = 759

College of Nursing = 93

College of Science = 134

College of Veterinary Medicine = 28

Candidates for Residency Teaching Certificate = 91

>mfw I did my student practicum with my old HS chem / math teacher and graded a geometry quiz and the average score was a 4/10 and he decided to just blanket score and give them all 10/10.

Can't wait until I become a teacher to fucking fix this shit.

>mfw I just took my o-chem 1 final and didn't even attempt the last two reactions because they were obviously not discussed in the book or notes and 5 times more complicated than the previous test given last year and because of this every student leaving the test room was pissed at the teacher and the test will likely be curved by at least 20% if not 30%.

So I get to pass a class because everyone else failed it. I love life.

Admit it, you have several test you need to be studying for and you're thinking about what you need to get on those test in order to get the minimum needed to pass the course.

also mfw I'm on high doses of caffeine while I cram for o-chem and community ecology.
