Google's "skymap" is filled with digital artifacts and glitches... the alternate wavelength modes doubly so. Please stop running to us with every fucking odd looking blob in the night sky and asking us if the end is nigh.

Go to Simbad's coordinate query (see link), input the coordinates of the object and look for objects within a couple of arcminutes of the coordinates you're at... chances are you'll find bright stars, quasars, etc right where your mystery objects are.

Im doing my A2 at the moment in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As I'll be finishing my A levels I need to try and pick a career goal so I can pick a university and course. Only problem is I have no idea what career would be best to go for. The only thing I know is that I want to do something related to the subjects I'm studying at the moment.

What would /sci/ advise?
