Do not confuse rate with number of trials

>retard

Also, when you say
>You do have better odds under these circumstances
Your odds of eventually winning the lottery are larger.

However, the odds winning a single drawing, even with infinite time, are still constant, for any choice of numbers.

Sure, by completely dehydrating the tissues.

Except that isn't so good for them either, particularly the brain.

The probability of a drawing outcome is not affected by the rate at which the trial occurs.

The likelihood of a consistent set of chosen numbers never being picked is constant for any rate.

If you're suggesting simulating the lottery balls before they fall out of the cage, you wouldn't be able to, because you'd have to precisely input the starting positions of all of the balls into the computer.

And you wouldn't need a very powerful computer to simulate 100 ping pong balls bouncing around accurately.

Bacteria do not have tissues. Bacteria are unicellular organisms, tissues are by definition multicellular.

However, waterbears can survive being frozen, and many other extreme conditions.

All we can say is that the laws of physics did not apply. Don't bother trying to comprehend it, it won't necessarily make sense because it will be completely different from everything you know intuitively about physics.

Each ticket played is in independent trial. Thus ANY set of numbers is equally likely to win, regardless of the previously played numbers.

The goldfish was never frozen. It was chilled to a low body temperature.

If it had been frozen it would have died. Ice crystals destroy organic tissues.

I speak Russian, and that is gibberish.

Still, your post summarizes one of the ideas I've been trying to get across on the board tonight, and for that I salute you, at the risk of being accused of samefaggotry.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing him of lying.

But what purpose does this thread serve? Do you think he really cares to hear about other people doing similar things? I seriously doubt it.

Just like IQ threads. OP never actually cares about the other people's IQs, he's just interested in showing his off. It might be anonymous, but posts are identifiable within the context of a thread, and that's more than enough for people to become emotionally invested in these anonymous conversations.

>> No.4084389 [View]

What is the purpose of these threads? I do not understand.

You guys post about your supposedly high IQs, then you talk about how much of a failure you are and how you sabotage yourself. It's as if you're saying "hey, I'm a loser, but it's fine because I have a high IQ!"

Wouldn't you expect an intelligent person to do something about his lack of accomplishment?

This is such a difficult concept for me to put into words. It's been bothering me for a few days. People do it real life too, they'll disguise what is essentially bragging behind some humble story, for example. What's this called? There has to be a term for it, it's so common.

>> No.4084335 [View]

Man OP you're so smart and ahead of your peers. You must have a tremendous IQ.

There has to be a word for threads like these, where people claim to have a problem or claim to simply be looking for others with similar issues, but the actual purpose of the thread is to brag about something they are proud of and/or validate their insecurities.

>> No.4084324 [View]

Why do people insist on bragging about their IQs? It's like saying you have a massive nutsack. Bitches don't care unless you have a big dick to go along with it.
